Lance Corporal Randy Gregg King, age 62 of Ft. Myers, Florida formerly of Pisgah, Alabama passed away on May 30th, 2024 at his residence.
Randy is survived by his wife of 30 years, Susan McIntire King;
daughter, Brittany King Dos Santos – Ft. Lauderdale, FL, son, Cody King – Ft. Myers, FL; 2 granddaughters, Aurora, and Zoe Dos Santos; sister, Talona King (Michael Hinkle); sister in-laws, Carla (Jerry) Plyer – Montgomery, AL, Vickie (Jason) Manade – Ft. Myers, FL; several nephews, a niece, uncles, an aunt, and cousins.
Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Wanda (Gilbert) King; grandparents, Albert and Ludy (Hall) Gilbert, William and Lou (Mathis) King.
Randy was a 1980 graduate of Pisgah High School. He completed his degree in electronics at RETS electronics in Birmingham. He was most proud of having been a United States Marine and served from 1985 – 1993. Prior to his passing he had 28 years of service with Oval Strapping International.
Memorial services with be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Friendship Baptist Church with Ricky Moore, and Lynn Wilks officiating.
