Mr. Randy Gidley, age 60 of Lineville, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021 at the Lineville Health and Rehab. No services are planned at this time.
Mr. Gidley was born in Ashland and had been a lifelong resident of Clay County. Upon graduating from Clay County High school, class of 1979, he worked for many years as the Dispatcher for the Clay County Police Department. He also worked at Coca- Cola. Mr. Gidley loved Auburn football, watching Nascar or anything sports related, and also being around his dogs.
Mr. Gidley is survived by one son, Jeff Gidley of Opelika; one granddaughter, Briley Gidley; his father, Charles Gidley of Lineville; one sister, Kelly Smith (Chris) of Clairmont Springs; one brother, Greg Gidley (Jennifer) of Ashland; his niece and nephew, Reagan Smith and Ayden Gidley; plus extended family.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Polly Gidley.
