Graveside services for Mr. Randy F. Smith, age 65, are scheduled for 11 AM, Friday, October 4, 2013 at Henderson County Memory Gardens with Bro. Tommy Crocker officiating. Pafford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Smith passed away late Wednesday at his home in Lexington. He was born June 21, 1948 in Lexington to the late William Floyd and Lula H. Davis Smith. He was self-employed in lawn-care and attended First Baptist Church in Lexington. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Sue Climer and Shirley Mathis. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Mrs. Kathy Odom Smith of Lexington, two brothers, Joe (Patsy) Smith and Leroy (Shelia) Smith of Lexington, three sisters, Rubye (the late Richard Knight) of Reagan, Kathy (Larry Tubbs) and Judy (Randel) Hensley of Lexington, several nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, and his loving pets, Bright Eyes, Gracie, and Mitzi.
