On Sunday, September 4th, 2022, Randolph Lowry, doting husband and steadfast father of two children, found eternal peace.

Randy was born in 1955 to Gerry and Mary Lou Lowry. His childhood was spent in Pointe Claire, Quebec. He enlisted in the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets and earned an aerospace engineering degree in 1976. He excelled at his craft, becoming a professional engineer and project manager in Tennessee. There, he met and married Marilyn. They raised a son, Sean, and a daughter, Kelsey.

Randy was a boundless adventurer. Whether skydiving in his youth, soaring across the sky in his plane, or summiting 14ers in his 60s, no challenge could rival his indomitable will. His passion for planning was eclipsed only by his dogged determination to succeed. He loved traveling, listening to music, sharing a bottle of homemade wine with friends old and new, and helping those around him. He was known for his positive outlook, an uncanny ability to strike up a conversation with anyone, and a tireless pursuit of knowledge.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, Gerry. He is survived by his wife Marilyn, his two children, Kelsey (Adam Myers) and Sean (Lisa), his mother Mary Lou, his sisters Christine and Wendy, his brother Doug, his grandchild and numerous Corps of Cadets ‘buds’.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a date to be announced. For more information about Randy’s Celebration of Life or donations in lieu of flowers, please go to https://kelseylowrydpt.com/randy/
