Randolph “Blinky” Armstrong

Randolph ArmstrongMr. Randolph “Blinky” Armstrong was born to Willis Armstrong Sr. and Geraldine Johnson Armstrong on June 13, 1948.

Randolph graduated from Carver Smith High School in 1966. He was elected Superlative for Most Studious, he was a member of the Science Club, Math Club, Baseball Team, Marching Band and Choir.

Randolph attended Tennessee State University, where he studied Engineering, until he was drafted into the military. He served in the US Navy and was a soldier during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his daughter, Rochelle (Terrance) Symlar, granddaughters, Aaliyah Symlar and Anasia Symlar. A host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings: Willis Armstrong Jr., Joe Don Armstrong, Edward Armstrong, Willie Louise Armstrong, and Theatrice Armstrong Waire.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 7:00 – 8:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
