Randle Edward Allred, a devoted police officer for 18 years with the City New Albany Police Department, passed away on June 12, 2024, in his hometown of New Albany, MS. Born on April 6, 1940, in the same vibrant city he served and loved, Randle was a man of honor and integrity who touched the lives of many.
In his tenure a police officer, Randle displayed unwavering courage and dedication to protect and serve his community. Beyond his badge, he was known for his infectious humor and storytelling abilities that would captivate all those around him. Fondly remembered for always having a good joke up his sleeve, Randle’s jovial spirit brought light to even the darkest of days.
Among his cherished memories were the love he held for his granddaughters – Chelsey Joyner, Amber Joyner, and Riley Allred. He found immense joy in spending time with them and watching them grow.
Aside from his professional life, Randle had a deep passion for watching westerns, wrestling matches, and football games. These interests provided him solace and enjoyment throughout the years.
Randle is reunited in heaven with his parents Hugh and Dessie Lee Allred, along with his daughter Tonya Hurdle (Allred), brothers Bobby Allred, Larry Allred, Hulon Allred, and sister Ruth Russell (Allred). They await his embrace on the other side with open arms.
Leaving behind a legacy of love and strength are his beloved wife Pamela Allred; son Jason Edward Allred (Brandie Allred) of New Albany, MS; sisters Margie Adair and Joyce Peters of New Albany; brothers Danny Allred, David Allred (Rita), Benny Allred (Louise), all from New Albany; as well as the granddaughters he adored – Chelsey Joyner, Amber Joyner, and Riley Allred.
The services to honor Randle’s life will be held at Glenfield Funeral Home located at 101 N. Denton Road in New Albany, MS. A visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on June 22nd followed by a Celebration of Life service at 12:00 PM
