Randall (Randy) Stuart Walker, age 66, of Guntersville passed away peacefully at his home after and extended battle with Glioblastoma on Thursday, February 22, 2024. He was born September 19, 1957 in Guntersville to Pete Walker & Judy Godsey. He was a graduate of Guntersville High School class of 1975 then went on to obtain a degree in Agricultural Science from Auburn University. He operated Bruce’s Restaurant until retirement in December 2019.
Randy is survived by his wife of 29 years, Ruth Hasty Walker; his mother Judy Godsey; sisters, Milla Walker & Lisa (Brad) Tuten; Sister-in-law Judy (Jake) Walker; Brother-in-law Randy Hasty & Rodney Hasty; Niece Beth (Chris) Resha; Great-niece Morgan Resha; Great-nephew Walker Resha; Adopted son Jordan (Chloe) Vega; Adopted Grandson Julian & Walker Vega. He is preceded in death by his sons: J. Stuart Walker & J. Randall Stuart Walker; father, Pete Walker; and brother, Bruce Walker.
Funeral services are Saturday, February 24, 2023 at Guntersville Memorial Chapel. Visitation is from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Funeral service is to follow with Gregory Hicks and Walter Alves officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church #2.
