Randall Hilt StephensRandall Hilt Stephens, 73, of Anniston passed away on Friday May 31, 2024 in Birmingham. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Laura Hotaling, and Hollie (Timothy) Fennell; his three grandchildren, Gabrielle Fennell, Jenna Bowen, and Audra Hotaling; and his brother, Terell Stephens.

He is preceded in death by his parents Shelly Hilt Stephens, and Martha Hall Stephens.

Randall worked at the bookstore of his alma mater for twenty three years, Jacksonville State University. He graduated from Saks High School in 1969 and he graduated from Jacksonville State in 1974.He was an all-star football player during school, he was number 41 on the field. Later in life he joined Hillcrest Church in Anniston where he was a devoted member of their choir.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at the Chapel at Cremation Services of East Alabama. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the service time.
