Randall Ayers passed away on November 19, 2024 at age 72. The Funeral Service, conducted by Pastor Johan McGregor, is 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2024 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service. Pallbearers: David Hodges, Dwight Lawson, Joe Varossa, Mark Cantrell, Andy Christensen, Andrew McGregor, and Carson Wagoner. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home on Wednesday from noon until the service at 1 p.m.
Melvin Randall Ayers was born in Lebanon TN to Wilma Dean Wilkerson and Harold Glenn Ayers. Randall married Janis Ervin and they built a good life together. They have been members of Love’s Way church for many years. He worked in Quality Control for Nissan until his retirement. Randall enjoyed fishing reading the Word, sitting on the back porch, and spending time with family.
Mr. Ayers is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Janis Ayers; daughter: Rachel (Scott) Granstaff; granddaughter: Madison Granstaff; and nieces and nephews: John Ayers, Angie Graves, and Tracy and Jason Atnip. He is preceded in death by parents Wilma Dean and Glenn Ayers, and sister Shirley Jean Atnip.
