Ramona Kay Snell, age 58 of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Elk River Health and Rehab in Fayetteville. She was born in Sioux City, Iowa on September 14, 1962 to the late, Harry “H.A.” and Letha Iona Preston Snell. She was employed at Hardees, New Life, and the Hundred Oaks castle. She loved to listen to music, especially Davey Jones and The Monkees, Elvis, and Conway Twitty. She also greatly enjoyed watching Elvis movies, the Monkees TV show, and Andy Griffith. Ramona always remembered everyone’s birthday, and would always brighten up any room with her jokes. She was a thoughtful, happy, and giving person who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Lawrence Leach, Marshall Snell, Betty Hendrix, William Snell, Fred Snell, Robert Snell, and Wayne Snell. She is survived by her siblings, Lee (Don) Townsley of Winchester, Harry “Sonny” (Kathy) Snell of Illinois, Mary (Phillip) Dodson of Estill Springs, Walter (Donna) Snell of Indiana, George (Dawn) Snell of Winchester, Francine Moore of Georgia; special friend and caretaker, Margo Pate of Winchester; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday, April 23, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 24, 2021 in the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, with Minister Phillip Dodson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Garner cemetery in Decherd.
