Ralph William Dye, age 83, Nauvoo, AL. formerly of Richlands, VA. passed away Tuesday October 16, 2012 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith, retired from the United States Air Force, having served during the Korean Conflict. His will be Thursday October 18, 2012 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL, with a funeral on Saturday October 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, VA. (Visitation 9:00-11:00 prior to the funeral) burial to follow at Hankins Cemetery in Richlands, VA. He is survived by his children, Stephen R. Dye, Teresa D. McAdams, Tony L. Dye and Timothy W. Dye; sisters and brothers, Doris, Gene, Evelyn, Glen, Carl “Cork”, Kenneth, Larry and Carol; grandchildren, Heather Cole, Lee Williams, Amanda Williams, Tristin Dye, Destin Dye, Brandy Mays, Brent Sartin and Kesha Sartin; 14 great grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Dewey Dye and Ruth Chapman Dye; siblings, Joe, Leslie, Delma and Doug; grandson, Stephen R. Dye, Jr.
