Rev. Ralph Wallace Snowden, 89, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. He was a native of Birmingham and a resident of Madison County since 1953.
Rev. Snowden was a minister with the Presbyterian Church of America since 1964, and a veteran of the US Marine Corps having served in World War II and the Korean War was a Purple Heart recipient. Also, he was a retired Engineer from Morton Thiokol.
Survivors include his wife, Mary W. Snowden; daughter Karen Leah Shumake (Larry); and two brothers, Joseph Snowden and Thomas Marion Snowden.
Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a 1:30 service with Rev. Adam Kisdale officiating. Burial will be at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
