Funeral Services for Ralph Eugene Lynch, age 90 of Goodwater, will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland with Bro. Josh Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Oaks Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Lynch was an Alabama native and ran a successful logging business for many years. He was a devoted husband and father that enjoyed raising cattle and keeping his garden.
Mr. Lynch is survived by his son, Phillip Lynch; grandchildren: Scott Mitchell, Renee Hurst(Todd), Kevin Lynch, Kristi Taylor, Beth Thornton and Ashley Johnson; 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Betty Shockley and Ann Friday; brother, Jack Lynch; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Lynch; parents, Homer and Edna Lynch; children: Deborah Lynch Kemp, Douglas Lynch, Teresa Lynch Haynes and Danny Lynch; grandson, Alexander Lynch and brother, Paul Lynch.
Pallbearers will be Scott Mitchell, Kevin Lynch, Eric Adams, Trent Smith, Todd Edwards and Todd Hurst.
His visitation will take place on Thursday, March 21, 2024 before the service from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland.
