Ralph Cloe Edwards Jr., 47 , of Hackleburg, formerly of Haleyville entered into rest Friday, November 16, 2012.
Mr. Edwards was born October 11, 1965. Ralph was a graduate of Haleyville High School in 1984. He served in the United States Army for 3 years. Ralph worked for Northwest Alabama Gas District for 28 years and J’s and L Molding for 4 years. He was a member of Haleyville Fire Department for several years. Ralph enjoyed wood working, carpentry, plumbing, deer hunting, and fishing. Ralph was also known by family and friends as Unc, Preacher, or Fireball.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 12-2pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, were services will be held Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 2pm. Burial will follow in Corinth Heights Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Lance Hogan and Brother Danny Holmes will officiate.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 15 years, Kym Edwards; son, Adam Edwards; daughter Jessica Edwards; parents, Ralph and Opal Edwards; and sister, Tina and her husband Craig Batchelor; nephews, Heath Batchelor, Drew Bathchelor; great nephew, Sawyer Hawke Batchelor; Grandmaw Lee; also a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Pawpaw and Mawmaw Edwards; Pawpaw Lee; Aunt Diane Carter; and Aunt Debbie Michael.
