Ralph Charles Barnes JR ,78, of Crossville, AL, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Marshall Medical Center South. Mr. Barnes was a very proud military veteran who served in the Vietnam War, as well as a member of the Blessing Church of Christ. Per his request he will be cremated after a Funeral Service that will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Albertville Funeral Home Downtown Chapel. Dustin Brock and Jerri Manasco will officiate. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Albertville Funeral Home Downtown Chapel. Preceded in death by his, mother, Nora Nelson Barnes, father, Ralph Charles Barnes SR, sister, Lynette Uptain. He is survived by his, wife, Linda Black Barnes of Crossville, AL, daughters, Kristina Carroll (Jackie) of Sardis, AL, Kathy Nelson (Jon) of Guntersville, AL, sister, Carolyn Ross of Palatka, FL, grandchildren, Bailey Carroll of Sardis, Al, Claire Nelson of Guntersville, AL. Albertville Funeral Home Downtown is assisting the family with arrangements.
