Rachel Paulette Aldridge Parrish, 80, of Decatur, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 12, 2023.
Rachel enjoyed being outside, listening to Alan Jackson, loving on Maggie Mae, and watching the news. She loved her family very much and will be missed by all that knew her.
Rachel was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Blevins Aldridge and Maudie Taylor Aldridge; her husband, Samuel Ray Parrish; her brothers, Rodney Aldridge and Hansel Aldridge; and her sister, Jane Aldridge Lee.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Byron Parrish (Lori);her sisters Joan Aldridge Alred and Anita Aldridge Long; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday March 16, 2023, at 2 pm at Roselawn Cemetery with burial to follow.
Shelton Funeral Home is assisting the family.
