Rachel Irene Mitchell Munsey, age 68, of Florence, passed away on August 21, 2024. Visitation will be Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Williams Funeral Home, from 2:30pm-3:30 pm with the service at 3:30 pm in the chapel with Ian Butler officiating.
She was preceded in death by parents, Rev. Thomas and Grace Mitchell; brothers, Robert Mitchell, Rev. Charles Mitchell, Terry Mitchell, Teddy Rae Mitchell; sisters, Peggy Bruner, Patsy Jane Mitchell; father of her children, Billy Wayne Munsey Sr.
Rachel is survived by her daughters; Shella Lea Munsey Taylor (Shawn), Sheila Munsey; sons, Billy W. Munsey Jr (Ashley) and David Munsey (Brandi); sisters, Francis Williams, Betty Jo Shelton (Junior), Stella Shelton. Additional survivors are grandchildren; Kaylee Petrey, Joshua Smith (Lily), William Smith (Kacey), Devin Munsey and Austin Taylor; Great-Grandchildren, Macie Ann Petrey, Remington Petrey, Ruger Petrey.
