Funeral Service for Rachel G. Overton, age 72, of Crane Hill, will be at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Johnson officiating; interment in Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-12 prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Overton passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020, at Falkville Health Care Center. She was born April 20, 1947, to D.J. and Myra Nell Garner.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Charlotte Crittenden.
Survivors include her daughters, Denise (Bobby) Lively and Jenia (Russell) Nicoll; son, Johnny Francis Overton, Jr.; brother, Richard Garner; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
