Rachel Earline Presley – Obituary

Rachel Earline Presley, 90, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014, at the Meadows. She was born April 16, 1924 to the late Oscar McAlister and the late Zelma Whitley McAlister. She was a member of East Fulton Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending her time with flowers, Sunday School class, and her Church family. She especially enjoyed her time with her family and doing activities with the Grandchildren.
Services will be at 12:00 pm on Tuesday October 14, 2014 with Bro. Grover Laird, Bro. Van Dale Hudson, and Bro. James Earl Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 12:00 pm Tuesday all at Senter Funeral Home.
Survivors include her Son, Melvin (Sarah) Presley of Fulton, Daughters: Peggy (Jimmy) Abel of Amory and Bonnie Popetz of Fulton; Granddaughters: Sharon Christian of Fulton, Melissa (Gerald) Reynolds of Hernando, Pam (Lee) Martin of WI, Kelly (Michael) Loague of Fulton; Grandson, Allen (Sandy) Popetz of Fulton; 10 Great Grandchildren; Sisters: Debbie (Joe) Dunabant of Memphis, and Orene Selander of Denver, CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Clarence Presley, Grandsons: Christopher Presley, and Richard Donald Popetz, Brother, Edward McAlister, Sisters: Pauline Walton, Lurene Richardson, Chastene Hughey, and Geraldine Spencer, Son’s-in-law: Gene Popetz and Johnny Sanders.
