Rachel Arrick, age 80 of Pelham, passed away on August 13, 2024, at her residence. She was born on August 30, 1943, in Pelham to the late David H. Dyer and Tommie I. Little. Rachel worked as a tow motor operator for Carrier for thirty-five years. She enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, and taking care of others. She will always be remembered for her funny, kind, and loving personality, but most importantly will be remembered as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Prairie Plains Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Rachel is preceded in death by her siblings, Harold Dyer, James Henry Dyer, and Ruth Bonner. She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Arnold Arrick Jr.; son, Tim Arrick; daughter, Kelli (Dean) Oliver; grandchildren, Ashley (Scott) Grimes, Brooke (Junior) Kilgore, Allison (Tyler) Medley, David Oliver; and great-grandchildren, Easton Kilgore, Beau Medley, and Alivia Kilgore. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 1pm-3pm at Prairie Plains Church of Christ. Funeral Service will follow at 3pm on August 16, 2024, at Prairie Plains Church of Christ with Brother Billy Robison officiating. Interment will be conducted at Prairie Plains Cemetery.
