R. Lance Ingram, 64, of Owens Cross Roads, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022. Lance loved his family, especially his grandbabies, and was blessed with an amazing group of friends. He loved to trout fish, travel, and was inducted in the Berry College Sports Hall of Fame.
Survivors include his wife, HJ Ingram; daughter, Madalyn Knox (JC); two grandchildren; and sisters, Cathy Halgat (Jay) and Joi Fox (Thomas). He was preceded in death by his daughter, Meg Ingram; parents, Dick and Margaret Ingram; and sister, Lynn Bradford.
A celebration of Lance’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 2, at 2pm CST at Cove United Methodist Church. Due to the current rise in COVID-19 cases, the family asks that all attending wear a mask and understand that room capacity will be limited. Doors will open at 1:30pm. For those who cannot attend in person, the service will be streamed live at covechurch.live.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Russel Hill Foundation or the University of Alabama National Alumni Association designated for the Meg Ingram Nursing Scholarship.
