Mr. R.J. Giddy, age 85, of Guin, Alabama, passed away Sunday, February 7th, 2016, at the Marion Regional Nursing Home in Hamilton, Alabama. He was affectionately known as “Bean”.
Visitation, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., Tuesday February 9th, 2016, at Antioch Church., Hamilton, Alabama. Funeral service, 3:00 P.m., at Antioch Church. Burial in the Antioch Church Cemetery.
Mr. Giddy is survived by His wife of 65 years, Eunie Franks Giddy; 3 daughters, Janet (Rickey) McLemore, Angie (Danny) Robbins, and Shay (Dennis) Giddy Sizelove; 2 sons, Artchie (Daphne) Giddy, and Shawn (Dedra) Giddy; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Rosie Giddy; 2 sons, Donald and Jeffrey; 1 daughter, Diana; 2 sisters; 1 brother; and 1 sister-in-law.
