R.C. Elliott 82 of Tuscumbia, AL passed away Thursday March 10, 2016. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until 2:00pm Friday March 11, 2016 at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Barton Cemetery. Chad Holder will officiate.
R.C. was a native of Colbert Co., AL. He was retired after 42 years with Morrison Funeral Home. He was a member of the Hook Street Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge, Washington Lodge, Tuscumbia, AL.
He was preceded in death by: Dorothy Borden, Juliene Stacks, Helen Thompson, Charles Elliott, Jr., Raymond Elliott, and his parents Charlie and Bessie Elliott.
Survivors are his wife Barbara Gail Elliott and his sisters Elizabeth Inman Wise and Betty Jean Inman all of Tuscumbia, AL.
Pallbearers will be funeral directors of Morrison Funeral Home.
