R. A. “Bob” Alexy, age 77 of Boaz passed away Monday, October 2, 2023 at his home.
His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Marshall Memorial Gardens. Rev. Josh Brogdon will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Kelcey Dendy, Kaleb Fieger, Andrew Benjamin, Jake Turner, Ryan Scruggs and Torrey Croft.
He is survived by his wife; Alice Alexy, daughters; Jeannie Duckett (Tommy), Michelle Aragon (Luis Gill), Regina Thomas (Doyle Burns) and Vicki Pruitt (Woody), grandchildren; Morgan Croft, Meagan Thompson, Kelcey Dendy, Kaleb Fieger, Kacie Duckett, Andrew Benjamin, Amie Benjamin and Lexus Thomas, eleven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Nick and Agnes Alexy, brothers and sisters; Mike and Jim Alexy, Catherine Pitts and Mickey Barcola, granddaughter; Emily Brianna Fieger and son-in-law: Joe Benjamin.
