This is Ace and he’s kind of a big deal! He’s almost built like a whippet or greyhound; he’s all legs and so cute and he has the personality to match. He’s very friendly and smart, he keeps a clean kennel, and he really loves playing with other dogs at the shelter. He seems like the kind of guy that knows when it’s time to let loose and when it’s time to kick back. Ace went on an adventure yesterday and was the best boy! Thank you Abby for giving him a break from the shelter!! Ace is around 1.5 years old and just 30 lbs and he could be your new sidekick! The adoption fee is $25 and includes everything your pet needs to be on track for a happy, healthy life: vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm test, and a microchip. Please call Florence Lauderdale animal services 256-760-6676 for more information.
Steele is a shepherd mix and is around 3 years old. He has been a shelter dog for a little over 2 months . He is VERY well-mannered, calm, super sweet, and loving! He walks great on a leash and doesn’t jump or bounce around (huge plus!).
Steele is house trained AND crate trained if he is kept on a schedule. He is good with kids but selective/reactive with other dogs. A meet and greet is always recommended when adding a new four-legged furbaby to your household! He is available for foster or adoption at the Colbert County Animal Shelter! If interested in adopting this handsome pup, the adoption fee is $85. This fee includes a voucher for $70 off of his neuter, a $15 rabies voucher, parvo and distemper vaccines, the first booster shot, Nexgard, AND dewormer! For more information please contact Colbert County animal shelter at 256-381-4073.
This boy is the cutest! He went on an adventure this week and was all sorts of charming. Briggs was well behaved, playful and the sweetest boy. He knows how to sit, shake, and lay. Briggs thinks he is a lap dog and loves to snuggle up. Mr Biggs has done well with other dogs at the shelter. We think he’s about 7 months old and he’s currently around 50 lbs. The adoption fee is $25 and includes everything your pet needs to be on track for a happy, healthy life: vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm test, and a microchip. Please call Florence Lauderdale animal services 256-760-6676 for more information.
Happy is a shepherd mix and is around 1 year old. He has been a shelter dog for a little over a month. He is hyper and high-strung. He is great with kids and other dogs! Due to having so much energy we recommend a meet and greet if smaller children are in the household. Again, great with kids and other dogs and loves to run and play! Happy is available for foster or adoption at the Colbert County Animal Shelter! If interested in adopting this cutie, the adoption fee is $85. This fee includes a voucher for $70 off of his neuter, a $15 rabies voucher, parvo and distemper vaccines, the first booster shot, Nexgard, AND dewormer.
