Price Irwin Mitchell, 76 of Athens, passed away on Friday, November 12th, 2021, at his residence. Mr. Mitchell was born on December 29th, 1944, to Irwin Mitchell and Lona Isbell Mitchell.
Mr. Mitchell is survived by his wife Geraldine Perry; children Lisa and Ronnie Swindall, Bubba and Ashton Perry, Stephanie Mitchell, Mr. and Mrs. Derrick Mitchell, and Mr. and Mrs. Casey Mitchell; grandchildren Austin Swindall and Reanna, Will Cavender, John Mitchell, and Maggie Mitchell; great granddaughter Scarlett Swindall; brothers Gene Mitchell, Johnny Mitchell, Curtis Mitchell and Kenneth Mitchell; sisters Carol Wolfe, Lynn Pospiech, Linda Kelso.
Preceded in death by his parents Irwin Mitchell and Lona Isbell Mitchell; brothers Lloyd Mitchell, Floyd Mitchell, Cecil Mitchell, Roscoe Mitchell, and James Mitchell; sister Noreen Pearson; grandchildren Skylar Swindall and Gavin Brooks.
Funeral services for Mr. Mitchell will be Monday, November 15th, 2021, at 2:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Brother Gerome Hillard officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, November 14, 2021, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Swindall, Tim Mitchell, Austin Swindall, Brian Mitchell, Bubba Perry, and Rod Taylor.
