Preston Willie Trousdale, 79 of Athens, Alabama, died Monday, August 14, 2023 at Limestone Nursing & Rehab Center.Mr. Trousdale was born September 28, 1943 in Lauderdale County, he was a member of Market Street Church of Christ and he was retired from The City of Athens.
Services will be 3PM Thursday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with James Turner officiating, burial in Miller Cemetery in Rogersville. Visitation is Wednesday 6pm until 9pm at Spry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Hobbs, Carl Hobbs, Keith Trousdale, Jeff Smith, Zach Schrimsher and Bradley Dollar.
Survivors: Wife, Lola Trousdale of Athens. Daughter, Brenda (Carl Hobbs) Trousdale of Athens. Grandson, Tyler Hobbs of Athens. Great Granddaughters, Leeia Hobbs and Maciee Grace Hobbs. Sisters, Kathy Goode of Athens and Reba McMeans of Anderson; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Willie and Bessie Trousdale. Brothers, Clarence Junior Trousdale and Robert Lee Trousdale.
