Preston Lynn Hancock, 73, Waterloo, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025. Visitation will be Saturday, March 15, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. A memorial service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel.
Preston was a long-time resident of Waterloo. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alver and Wynell Hancock; and nephew, John Sterling Hancock.
Preston is survived by his son, Brandon Michael Hancock (Madison); brother, Terrel Hancock (Judy); sister, Teresa Hancock Peters (Jimmy); grandchildren, CataBrie Wynell Hancock and Evelyn Clair Hancock; niece, Danielle Crowden (Ryan) and their children, Delilah Kelley and Rylee and Ridge Crowden; niece Brianna Peters and her children, Mia Peters, Charli Cobb, and Luna Peters; and nephew, Nathan Hancock and his daughter, Abigail.
