Ms. Polly G. Thornton, age 91 of Athens, AL passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Ms. Thornton was born on April 4, 1926 to Onis and Tessie Watkins Gatlin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Danny Thornton.
Ms. Thornton is survived by her son, Steven I. Thornton (Charlotte) of Athens, AL; daughters, Theresa Moss (Steven) and Jennifer Murphy both of Athens, AL.
A private service was held for Ms. Thornton on Wednesday, April 4, 2018.
