Florence Police Blotter For Wednesday, September 27

FLORENCE-The Florence Police have issued a release for several arrests made on Wednesday, September 27:

Kristofer Thompson B/M 35yoa Florence, Al

Florence Police and Florence Fire are currently on a scene, 500 block of Marion Ave, of a house fire that started as a domestic disturbance call. Call stated that a male and a female was outside arguing and fighting. The caller then advised that the house was on fire. The male subject, later identified as Kristofer Thompson, left walking towards Chisholm Rd. At that point an ambulance was called for the female. Mr. Thompson was located in the 2000 block of Shade Ave. after police K9 tracked him from the scene to this location. He is charged at this time with Domestic Violence, other charges are pending. The female is currently at ECM being treated for unknown injuries. This case is still under investigation.

Christina McCullough, W/F 32yoa Tuscumbia, Al

 Domestic Violence 2nd and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card 9 counts. Currently is in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on a $14,000.00 bond.
Ms. McCullough is charged with breaking into her ex-boyfriend’s house and stealing his credit card. She then used the credit card to make several purchases around town.

Joshua Waddell, W/M 28yoa Palmetto, GA

 Theft of Property 1st 4 counts, Financial Exploitation of Elderly Person 1st, Forgery 2nd, he has bonded on a $25,000.00 bond.
Mr. Waddell was referred to the victim to help in a sale and purchase of a vehicle. Mr. Waddell came to Florence and picked up the vehicle that the victim was trying to sale. He then asked for addition money for the purchase of a vehicle. In the final outcome of this case the victim is out a vehicle that has a value of $97,000.00 and $111,500 in cash.”
