  Phyllis Ann CookIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Phyllis Ann Cook on December 15, 2024, at the age of 90. Phyllis was born on February 5, 1934 in Quay, OK., to Walter and Louise Parks.

Phyllis met the love of her life and beloved husband, Roy Cook shortly after graduating from Eureka High School. Phyllis was known for her wonderful sense of humor, hard work ethic, many craft abilities and love and support for her family and community. She was a devout member of Sunnyside Calvary Baptist in Sunnyside, WA, Park Place Baptist in Cushing, OK and later Weaver Congregational Methodist in Weaver, AL.

Phyllis worked the majority of her adult life at Pacific Coast Nursery in Sunnyside, Washington. After retiring she moved with her husband Roy to Cushing, OK and later to Weaver, AL.

Preceded in Death: Mother & Father, Walter and Louise Parks, her husband, Roy Cook, son Michael Cook, brothers, Clifford and Gene Parks and sisters, Barbara Welty and JoAnne Hadley.

Survived by: daughters Edith Hysell, Rae Ann Cook; sons Bill Cook and Gary Cook, son-in-law Larry Hysell, daughter-in-law Beth Wewer, grandchildren Jeremy and Jennifer Hysell, Stephanie Cook, Adri Robins and Leslie Thomas, great grandchildren Morgan Gartman, Teagan and Parker Robins James and Kendall Thomas, Eric and Eva Foley, sisters Clarice Pike, Rose Cramer, and Margaret Irwin and bother Jack Parks and she is survived by several loving great grand children, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to your chosen charity in her name.
