Funeral service for Phyllis Alberta Witt, 81, of Moulton, will be May 14, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Sister Teresa Walch officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Witt, who died on May 9, 2013, at her residence, was born on July 3, 1931, in Holyoke, MA. to the late Philip LaFontaine and Mary Shea LaFontaine. She was a devout Catholic. She graduated from Holyoke High School and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James A. Witt; and her son, Keith A. Witt.
She is survived by her sons, James A. Witt Jr. and Bart Phillip Witt; her brother, Donald LaFontaine; two sisters, Sandra LaFontaine Cole and Marilou LaFontaine Moore; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
