A graveside service for Phillip Glenn Spurlock, age 92, of Fayetteville, TN will be held at 1pm on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Riverview Memorial Gardens with Bro. Eric Lones officiating. There will be no visitation with the family prior to the service.
Mr. Spurlock was born July 15, 1932, in Lincoln County, TN to the late Fred and Allie Mills Spurlock. He retired from Elk Yarn Mill after over 40 years of service. Glenn enjoyed history of Fayetteville and sharing that history with family and friends. He passed away February 19, 2025, at Elk River Health and Nursing Center of Fayetteville.
Survivors include his stepdaughters, Debbie (Dale) Winsett and Tammy Stovall (Tony Robinson) both of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Carrie (Eric) Lones, Kevin (Natalie) Winsett; 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to his parents, Mr. Spurlock was preceded in death by his siblings and their spouses, Dorothy (Bernard) Gray, Belle (Edward) Gray, Wilma (John Wilson) Bedwell, Betty (Blakeley) Tipps, Vernon (Katherine) Spurlock, and Jackie Neal Spurlock.
