Philip Wayne Wheatley Philip “Phil” Wayne Wheatley, age 43, passed away on April 03, 2021, in Nashville, TN.

Philip was born on April 14, 1977, in Conway, South Carolina to parents Larry Wayne and Debi Greenwood Wheatley.

At a young age, Phil wanted to serve his country and enlisted in the Army after graduating high school. With diligent hard work and drive, Phil earned his LPN license through the military.

If you knew Phil, you knew he was a jokester at heart, the funny guy. He lived for making people laugh, sharing laughs with the people he loved, but mostly pulling pranks on them. Phil was his happiest when he was cheering on his favorite sports teams, like: the Tennessee Vols, Tennessee Titans, and Chicago Cubs. He was so proud watching his children in all of their extracurricular activities. Phil was a devoted family man, a wonderful husband, father, and son.

A service of remembrance for Phil will be held at a later date.

Philip is survived by his loving wife, Julia Wheatley; amazing children: Jackson, Nathaniel, and Sophie Wheatley; Parents: Debi and Larry Wheatley; Grandmother: Modena Wheatley; Siblings: Jennifer (Andrew) Latham, James Wheatley, and Dawn “Shelley” (Mike) Jagodzinski; and six nieces and nephews.

Williams Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
