Peyton Marie Smith passed peacefully in the arms of her parents on January 1st, 2024. She was born on December 4, 2023, and met the eyes of Jesus just before midnight on January 1st. Peyton was the daughter of Adam and Jessie Smith of Birmingham, AL.
Peyton spent her 28 days here on Earth in the NICU at Grandview Medical Center. Peyton only knew one thing, and that was love. She was deeply loved by her family, friends, and the NICU staff at Grandview. Her life was a short blessing, and her parents were able to spend all 28 days visiting with her.
Her paternal grandparents are David and Melanie Smith of Huntsville, AL and maternal grandparents are Brian and Connie Johnson of Florence, AL.
Visitation will be at Laughlin Service Funeral Home in Huntsville, AL on Saturday January 6, 2024, from 11:30 am to 12:30 p.m. and a funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery following the service around 1:00 p.m.
