Memorial mass for Petra Delgado Jimenez, age 52, of Decatur, will be Wednesday, December 16, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church with Father Victor Salomon officiating. Entombment will follow in Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church Columbarium. Shelton Funeral Home is assisting her family.
Mrs. Jimenez, who died Thursday, December 10, 2020, at UAB, was born October 3, 1968, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Ramon Delgado and Petra Donjuan Delgado. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Francisco Delgado.
She is survived by her husband, Manuel Jimenez of Decatur; one son, Julian Godoy (Roxana) of Decatur; two daughters, Maria Jimenez of Birmingham, and Jessica Jimenez of Florence; two brothers, Ramon Delgado of Decatur, and Lorenzo Delgado of Mexico; and one granddaughter, Esperanza Godoy of Decatur.
