Peter Notch, age 60 of Fort Payne, formerly of Hartly, Delaware, passed away on Saturday evening. He was born on January 30, 1961 to the late John & Pearl Beavers Notch, Sr. in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Notch was a project manager at Dupont Experimental Station in Delaware before moving to Alabama. He also served 12 years as a paramedic in Georgia and Florida.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dekalb County Animal Adoption Center, 2601 Jordan Road SW, Fort Payne, AL 35967.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Alice Darcangelo Notch; children, Helen Nicole Parasmo and Alisa & Daniel Puzon; brother & sister-in-law, John D. & Cyndy Notch, Jr.; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Hickman; grandchildren, Kylee Puzon, Caleb Puzon, Miriam Puzon, Ethan Puzon and Natalie Rush; and his beloved pet, Jesse.
He was preceded in death by his parents; half-brother, Charles Hickman; half-brother & sister-in-law, John Leroy & Ethel Wright; and half-sister, Leona Flagg.
