Peter J. Koretz  Peter J. Koretz- dedicated spouse, father, grandfather and friend-, 72, passed away peacefully in his home on January 11, 2023.
Peter was born on October 27, 1950. Since forever, he has loved the outdoors and found “a piece of heaven” at his home in Lincoln, AL. He enjoyed making people laugh and being a total goofball. He was a man who could not sit still and would always find something to fix or build. Peter was a massive Dallas Cowboys fan and almost never missed a game. Peter often found beauty even in the smallest of things. He and his partner, Faye, would spend their days working with their plants, going on walks, and enjoying the simplicities of life.
Peter has 3 children that he made sure knew that he was a proud father. Whether it was in person, on a phone call, or through video chat, our dad was part of each moment in our lives. Through laughter, tears, encouraging words, and funny faces his love has spread and will continue to do so.

He was preceded in death by his mom, Harriett, his dad, Jim, and many beloved pets.

He is survived by his spouse, Faye Parcus, his children Dallas Haskin, Danielle Koretz, and Brandon Koretz, his sons-in-law Joe Haskin and Jesse Clark, his grandson Logan Haskin, his grandchildren Jakob, Stephen, Micheala, Autumn, and Scotty, his great-granddaughter Gracelynn, extended family Linda & Micheal Brooks and Nancy & Daryl Hayes, his beloved dogs, and countless other family and friends.
