Pete Johnson, 58, of Iuka, MS, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019, at his residence in Iuka, Mississippi. He enjoyed trading horses and spending time with his family. He truly enjoyed life. He is survived by his daughters, Jana Ross (Greg), Jacy Mitchell, and Jessica Oathout; his son, Jeremy Mitchell; his brother, Johnny Johnson (Becky); his aunts, Elsie Lambert and Pearlie Smith (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Gavin Ross, Presley Ross, Owen Ross, Carson Robinson, Calie Robinson, and Bentli Ross; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvie Edward and Rita Gale Collins Johnson; his brother, James Alvie “Goob” Johnson; and several aunts and uncles. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka from 1pm until 9pm. Services will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 11am at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Johnny Hancock. Burial will be in Mt. Evergreen (Toenail) Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jamey Dale Johnson, Anthony Luttrell, Bo Johnson, Donovan Scott, Lance Heavener, Rodney Pannell. Honorary pallbearer will be Anita Mitchell.
