Graveside Services for Mr. Pervis Craven, age 91 of Lineville, will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. David Holcombe officiating.
Mr. Craven passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022 at his home. He was born in Clay County, but had spent over 46 years living in Marietta, GA before settling back in Randolph County in 2006. He worked as a warehouse supervisor for Borg-Warner and also worked with his son providing lawn care and repair of Lawn mowers. Mr. Craven also enjoyed fishing, working with his family, and riding his Golf cart around the yard. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Craven is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ann Craven; one son, Michael Wayne Craven (Kelly K.), all of Lineville; two grandchildren: Stephanie K. Tyson (Michael) and Kandice M. Lambert (Dewayne); two great-grandchildren: Michael B. Tyson and Kallie M. Lambert; one sister, Dean Edwards of Roanoke, plus a large extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Roy Shafford Craven and Minnie Ester Hill; one daughter, Debbie Craven; two sisters: Louise Estes and Lannie Farrow; and two brothers: Thirl Craven and Curtis Craven.
Active Pallbearers will be John Morgan, Jerry Smith, Rick Jiles, Jimmy Brock, Michael Tyson, and Dewayne Lambert.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Jiles and Jeff Southern.
His visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville from 5:30 PM until 8:00 P.M. He will remain at the funeral home from 8:00 A.M. until 10:30 AM.
