Perry Keith Johnson – Obituary

Perry Keith Johnson, 61, left this world and went to his eternal home on Sunday, January 6, 2019, at his home in Dorsey. He was born November 4, 1961. He lived a quiet and simple life. He previously worked at Gibson Containers, and was a veteran. He loved to fish, ride horses, watch westerns, bull riding, and spending time with his family. He was an avid dominoes player and enjoyed beating everyone. He was an avid prankster and enjoyed playing jokes on everybody. His best friend and companion the past few years has been his Rottweiler, Buddy.

Services will be at 2:00 p. m. Tuesday, January 8, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton. Burial will be in the Bourland Cemetery.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Grace Haller (Stan) of Covington, LA; two sisters, Teresa Darracott (Louis) of Fulton, and Lisa Lewellen ( Charlie Wayne) of Long Beach, MS; two brothers, Kenny Johnson of Fulton, and Jimmy Leland Johnson (Anne) of New Orleans, LA; five nephews, Darrell Darracott (Phoebe), Eric Darracott (Lisa), Dustin Knowles (Farren), Landon Johnson (Clarissa), and B.J. Hardin; three nieces, Tiffany Lewellen, Leigh-Anne Johnson, Breigh-Anne Johnson (Ryan); a host of great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Johnson, Sr.; and grandparents, Vester and Ora Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Darracott, Eric Darracott, Dustin Knowles, Landon Johnson, B.J. Hardin, Michael Parker, Chad Merchant, and Skip Johnson.

Visitation will be from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. Monday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
