Perry Dayne Williams, after a long battle with cancer, departed this life from his Brewer home on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. He was 51. Perry was born in Tupelo on April 28, l971 to Paul Wayne “Bruce” Williams and Deborah Earrey Williams, who survive. He lived in and loved the Brewer Community where he lived all his life. Perry was a 1990 graduate of Shannon High School. He worked many years in the furniture industry before becoming disabled several years ago. A great admirer of God’s creation and all creatures, he loved the land he lived all his life on all his life and enjoyed nothing more than being in the woods hunting and the lakes and streams fishing. Perry loved “tinkering” in his work shop and taking care of his dogs, Velvet (deceased), Chemo and Bella. Perry was a lifelong member of the Brewer United Methodist Church and the husband of Angela Smithey Williams, whom he married on Sept. 11, 2011.
A service celebrating his life will be held at 11:30 PM Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the Brewer United Methodist Church with Rev. Jason Garrott officiating. Bro. Jeff Martin will do the eulogy. Visitation will begin at 10 AM Saturday only at the Church. Private burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Holland Funeral Directors is honored to be serving their neighbors.
Perry is survived by his wife, Angie Williams; his Mom and Dad, Bruce and Deborah Williams all of Brewer; his daughter, Amber Williams of Tupelo; his two bonus children, Bayle Bryant of Tupelo and Christopher “Chris” Bryant (Heather) of Sherman; his sister, Amy Williams Kennedy and her children Brody and Aspen Kennedy of Tupelo. 3 grandchildren.
