Penny Hobbs Dendy Penny Hobbs Dendy, 71, of Iuka, Mississippi, died on November 20, 2024, at her residence. Mrs. Penny loved to travel all over the United States and enjoyed visiting casinos along the way. When she wasn’t traveling, she liked relaxing at home with her beloved cat, Ziva, and an episode of Yellowstone or Heartland. Mrs. Penny is survived by her daughters, Gaela Lashley (Greg), Tracie Nash (Alan), Amanda Dendy, Candy Owens (Johnny), and Adrian Wilbanks (Bryan); her grandchildren, Garrett  Lashley, Kayla Owens, Kaleigh Colburn, Tyler Lashley, Ross Nash (Brooke), Kalee Lathrop (Garison), Morgan Wilbanks (Zayne), Olivia Williams, Jathan Owens, Lane Wilbanks, and Aiden Dendy; 12 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Earl Hobbs (Margie). She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Wayne Dendy; her parents, Eva and Pete Hobbs; her sister, Mary Ruth Hooker; and her nephew, Matthew Scott Hooker. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Chris Borden. Pallbearers include Bryan Wilbanks, Johnny Owens, Alan Nash, Zayne Lockhart, Ken Hobbs, and Brian Hobbs. Interment will be in Mt. Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Penny’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
