Funeral service for Peggy Rogers, 88, will be Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Johnson Chapel UMC with Bro. Roger Penn and Bro. Tom Salter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Johnson Chapel UMC in Danville,
Mrs. Rogers passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Westminster Village in Spanish Fort, Alabama, where she had gone to be nearer to family . She was born December 27, 1933, in Morgan County to William Danny Penn and Vernie Hall Penn.
She employed for more than 40 years by Citizen’s Bank of Hartselle, which became Southrust Bank, prior to her retirement. She was a Vice President of the bank and served many people and made many friends over those years. She was a Falkville High School graduate and a member of the Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church for over 40 years.
Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her husband Lewie Rogers, her parents, Brothers: Hoyt Lee Penn and Norman Penn and sisters: Jo Ann Ellis and Marie Price and one nephew.

Grand Child – Evelyn Chaffin
Seven Nephews who loved her dearly
