Peggy Pickett Harris, age 78, passed away on March 6, 2016. She lived all her life in Franklin County and was a member of North Highlands Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raleigh Harris; her parents, Calvin and Ruby Pickett; sisters, Judy Creamer, Betty Alsbrooks, and Frances Grant; and brothers, C.D. Pickett, Tommy Pickett, Bruce Pickett, and William Pickett.
She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Blum and husband Michael, of Birmingham, and Joanna Lewis and husband Steve, of Alexander City; grandchildren, Alexandra, Catherine, and Caroline Blum and Jordan Korte, Landon Korte, and Adeline Lewis; sisters, Sarah Thompson, of Russellville, and Pat Waldrop, of Fayetteville, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for the family was held on Friday, March 11, 2016, at Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Russellville.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, assisted the family.
