Peggy Lynn Wallace, age 75, of Russellville, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024, at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.
Peggy started working as a licensed barber and later she spent almost 18 years working at Gold Kist in the deboning department. When she was able, she loved to cross-stitch, crotchet, and working with crafts which included lace, beading and making decorative bears. She loved spending time watching the birds and watching QVC or HSN. She started collecting gemstones and rocks and was always on the lookout for something unique. She always had a love for History and could remember almost anything you needed to know. She was a great mother, and she loved her grandchildren. The family will cherish those wonderful memories of Peggy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Allen Johnson; mother, Arrie Johnson Stone; grandparents, Joseph Hunter Johnson, Minnie Lou Johnson, William Clyde Hughes Staggs, and Alice Lounettie Greenhill Staggs.
She is survived by her sons, Raymond Lane Wallace, Robert Ladon Wallace (wife, Shayla); grandchildren, Bridget Morrigan Wilton, Shiloh Kathryn Wallace, Ryan Logan Wallace; siblings, Jeannie Sue Hagen, Charles Allen Johnson (wife, Bonnie), Joseph C. Johnson; and a host of nieces & nephews.
The visitation will be 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 03, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The service will follow in the chapel at 5:00 p.m. with Bro. Joey speaking at the service. The honorary pallbearers will be Roy Lee Chaney and Kurtis Poore.
