Peggy Lynn Martin was born July 10, 1974 in Jackson, TN the daughter of Paulette Steele Stout Hickman and the late Donald Franklin Stout.
She was united in marriage to Wayne Martin on September 14, 1994. Wayne preceded her in death on April 14, 2008.
Peggy graduated from McNairy Central High School and attended the Tennessee College of Applied Technology at Crump, where she studied computer science. Arts and crafts, including crocheting, drawing, and flower arranging, were among her favorite activities. She was a good cook and enjoyed solving puzzles and playing games, but her favorite activity was spending time with her family. Peggy was a member of the Refuge church of Christ, having been baptized into Christ on January 4, 2024.
Peggy departed this life on January 27, 2024 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 49 Years, 6 Months, 17 Days. She is survived by two daughters, Hanna Martin of Millington, TN and Tracy Martin of Selmer, TN; her mother and stepfather, Paulette and Ray Hickman of Bethel Springs, TN; a sister, Debbie Green and husband Rickey of Bethel Springs, TN; two special nieces, April Lloyd and Julie Patterson and husband Daniel, all of Selmer, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
