Peggy L. Wilkins, age 79, of Decatur, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. The family will hold a Memorial Service at a later time. Shelton Funeral Home assisted the family.
She was born February 19, 1944 to James Gibson and Thelma Scarbrough Gibson in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She was voted most beautiful in high school in Truman, Arkansas. She was a cheerleader from 7th -12th grade. She was of Baptist Faith and a very loving Christian.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gary Gibson.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Edwin W. Wilkins, son; Jeff Wilkins, and brother; Larry Gibson.
