Peggy Joyce McNabb, age 71, a resident of Hampshire, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at her residence.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on May 17, 1950, in Lewis County, Peggy was the daughter of the late Clarence Elmer McNabb and the late Allie Opal Henson McNabb.
She is survived by her daughters, Tammy (Glenn) Cates, Pamela (Clyde) Vaughn, Carrie (Damon) Lentini, Stephanie (Jerry) Osborne, Candice (Randy) Howell, brothers, Freddie (Maggie) McNabb, Joe (Mary Jane) McNabb, sisters, Ann (Grover) Chapman, Stella Runions, fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, sisters in law, Donna McNabb, Cathy McNabb, special niece who helped her, Amy “Cricket”, many nieces and nephews, and several others whom she claimed as her own.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne McNabb, son, Robert Dwayne McNabb, brothers, Elmer, Thomas, Carl, and Billy McNabb, sister, Ruth McNabb, grandson, Cody Howell, son in law, James Martin, brother in law, Ray Runions.
Peggy’s grandsons, nephews, family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
