Peggy Jo Stuckey, a longtime resident of Huntsville, passed away peacefully with family at her side on March 27, 2014.  Born Peggy Jo Henderson on December 24th, 1939 in Eutaw, Alabama  she was an exceptional mother who loved to sing, travel, and spend time with family.  Peggy especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and would often host some fun adventure.  Peggy  was both a craft master and catering wizard.  Until her later years suffering from Alzheimer’s, Peggy was active member and retired secretary at Grace Lutheran Church, a Deputy Grand Regent at the Women of the Moose, and a Red Hatter.  She was an amazing multi-talented woman, an example of love and kindness, who always cared for others, not only her family, but friends as well.  Peggy enjoyed traveling, having lived in Germany for several years, loved to volunteer to work with children (especially children choirs), and enjoyed working in her yard when the time allowed.
Along with her parents Charles and Sue Henderson, she was preceded in death by brothers, David Henderson and Jerry Henderson, and sister, Sue Ellen Cochran.
Peggy is survived by her three loving sons, Lynn (Joy) Stuckey, Michael Stuckey, and Derrick (Karen) Stuckey; her special grandchildren, Jessica Clontz, Julia Stuckey, Kelly Sisemore, Miles Sisemore, Remy Stuckey, Tristan Stuckey, and Alexis Wentworth; her siblings Reginald Henderson, Jesse Henderson, Patsy Rankin, and Linda Fontaine; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 31, 2014 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Berryhill Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Monday at 2:00pm at Berryhill Funeral Home with Brother Tommy Presley officiating.  Burial will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens.  Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
